holländische Schriftentwerfer und -techniker
Erik van Blokland (Letterror) hat
sich zu Weihnachten ein Spielzeug programmiert:
Den ersten
netzwerkfähigen und
browserbasierten
Cross-Plattform-Font-Editor.
Kein Witz! Er nennt ihn
GlyphServer. Die Demo
ist bereits online und funktioniert. Aber aufpassen:
»Ich arbeite noch ständig daran, so dass GlyphServer
nicht immer erreichbar sein wird.«

Erster Kommentar – vom anderen Erik (dem Älteren): »Absolut brilliant. Ich habe (noch) keine Ahnung wie und warum ich das benutzen soll ... aber schon als Demo für ein brilliantes User-Interface ist es vorzüglich.« (Erik Spiekermann)
